Honestly I got this off twitter from @makerappersrap but don't all y'all start getting ideas. I only clicked it 'cos it was Dizzee and it was FIYA!!!! The rest of y'all: act like you know!
Even though I used the image form his forthcoming Dirtee Disco album dropping May 24th, I'm not 100% sure this Chase and Status-produced grime-meets-dubstep banger is gonna be on it. Sh-t is monstrous either way....

"We've been fascinated by the London pirate radio scene for a while now. It's a story that features a crew of kids breaking on to rooftops and getting radio geeky by erecting terrestrial radio stations and old school antennas and then using modern technology to spread the word and the music. It's a story that had to be told, so we did and it's called London Pirate Frequencies."

Semtex & Roy Thomas present Passed Out - The Mixtape
For those of you who don't keep up on your UK hip hop happenings, "Pass Out" (as the original is officially titled) is a joint by UK rapper, Tinie Tempah that has become the "A Milli"/"I Wanna Rock"/"Exhibit C" of the UK hip hop scene. That is, the joint that every MC had to go in over if they wanted to look relevant and prove their MC mettle.
I love to see regional developments like this. DJ Semtex & his partner at DJSemtex.com Roy have been diligently posting all the various "Pass Out" freestyles & remakes on their blog over the past few weeks and astutely decided to collect them all on this collection. MAJOR props to them for doing that! I believe the original "Pass Out" also became a #1 pop hit over there to boot which, if you know anything about the UK market (its very pop), is a pretty amazing achievement!

I've featured this UK grime MC before when he dropped the track, "In the VIP" which I was digging. Now's he back with a full mixtape of 15 tracks including original material, freestyles and guest features from other UK cats like Skepta, Jme, Jammer, C gritz, Shorty, B Live, J Mak & more and production from Plastician, The Wideboys, Majestic himself, Control-s and Loco. Now admittedly I only know the names Skepta and Wideboys out of all them but dude showed some promise on "In the VIP" so I'ma show love and support this new project.
