New Music: Mickey Factz - Paradise
Well the kid finally did it. After signing to Jive Records, long time friend of the site and ace MC, Mickey Factz dropped what looks like is gonna be his first official major label single. Apparently this leaked end of last week and the homie DJ Enuff is already killin' it on Hot 97. For all y'all who already got a copy of this, be clear: this is the fully MASTERED, explicit version that just got delivered last night so click play, crank it up and check it out 'cos its a HEATER!

As I said the other day, The Kitchen has been a long-time supporter of Mickey Factz and thanks to the good people at Meanread Productions, its time for us to give back by giving away a pair of tickets for his show this Thursday at Santos Party House with openers, Telephoned and Machinedrum.
A winner will be selected from entrants who can prove they have bought "Alpha", the first official, commercially-released single by Mickey. Screen shots of your itunes paid page or fwd confirmation emails or equivalent will work. Send your proof by email, subject line: 'Mickey Factz Ticket Contest'" until 11:59:59AM EST on Wednesday March 31. The winner will be selected at random and notified by email.
Note: you must be able to make your own way to the show. NO transportation can or will be provided.

Long-time Kitchen readers know I was an early, early supporter of Mickey when he was hustling his In Search Of... mixtappe. Now look where he is!
It's been a long time coming but if you can believe it, "Alpha", his first offically, commercially-released single in finally out so GO SUPPORT IT! You can cop it on iTunes HERE. If you're that cheap, feel free to click the Mickey tag below to access all the free, GREAT music he's given you over the past few years but show some support for an artists who's gon a that extra mile to cultivate your support by giving you all htat music. "2 Weeks ago we got 15 of the artists (from Atlanta) on The 808 Experiment: Vol 2 together for a full day of shenanigans. We filmed the “WTF is SMKA” & “In Your Own Words” videos…but we also filmed artist profiles and some freestyles. We have 3 freestyle videos ft: Hollyweerd, FKi, Tom P, The Canz & Jay West. We will be leaking the videos over the next week or so. This first video features Dreamer (of Hollyweerd) and FKi. For Your Viewing Pleasure."
