New Music: Dinco D feat. B The Hard Way – Dinc to The Dinc
For those not knowing, Dinco D was the oft-overlooked third member of early 90's hip hop crew, Leaders of the New School which introduced the world to a young Trevor Smith aka Busta Rhymes.
Cats may have slept on Dinco while slavering over Busta and underrated second-banana Charlie Brown but this record is kinda dope. It sounds like it was made in ’96 and I mean that in a good way! This might not be 2010 style hip hop but it damn sho' is funky. In other words, hip hop I can f-ck with!
On the crate-diggin' tip, is that the same sample as Gangstarr's "B.Y.S." in the beat?? And while we're talking about Gangstarr and posting so much old school hip hop stuff, let me say R.I.P. to Guru one more time. The Kitchen never forgets....

His record speaks for itself and perhaps, nothing speaks louder than what might stand as his towering masterpiece in a catalog spanning many masterpieces, The Chronic, a record that still sounds as amazing today as it did when it was released almost 18 years ago! For those of you too lazy to do that though, let me put it to you this way: much of what people give Dr. Dre, arguably the greatest hip hop producer of all time, credit for including 'his' signature G-Funk sound came directly from lead Above the Law MC and main group producer, Hutch aka Cold 187um. Before you argue with me, go do your research then come back and we can have a discussion.
