My take? Ye was right but he was totally out of line and acted inappropriately last night. I mean, he wasn't even up for the award so how did he feel it was his place to either, take up for Beyonce or ruin Taylor Swift's moment? Dude is unbelievable, but f-ck it, MTV is LOVING this 'cos their watercooler buzz for the VMAs (which doesn't even happen around water coolers anymore) is off-the-charts right now. If I know them cats, they are trying to figure out how to have more Kanye next year. Lil Mama's f-kery during the Jay-Z/Alicia Keys show-closing performance becoming a #1 trending topic on twitter last night doesn't hurt either.
And BTW: Taylor Swift could have shown some class herself and thanked Beyonce for being such a class act by giving up HER moment to shine for her! I'm still not covinced the whole thing wasn't staged by MTV in the first place though....

Am I crazy for thinking this whole thing from Ye's initial stage bum-rush to Beyonce winning Best Video but yielding her acceptance speech time slot to Taylor Swift, might have been staged though, set up & engineered by MTV? Like I said on Twitter, Nas f-cked up not getting on this record. The song sounded amazing as is live tonight but can you imagine how much more epic it would have been having Nas spit a verse on it too? Dude is an amazing talent but I just don't understand him at times.
NOTE: I think this clip only works in the US, like the internet stops at the US border! :/ These companies will never learn.

This is wild old in internet time but thought it was worth sharing since I posted a clip the other day of Kanye saying, wonders never cease, he thinks it's actually more deserving of the best video award at the MTV VMA's than his own "Stronger" clip.
