New Music: Kanye West - So Appalled feat. RZA, Jay-Z, Pusha T, Swizz Beatz & Cyhi the Prynce
I mean c'mon, this is pretty much FIYA! I am gonna have to admit, that Jay can pretty much annihilate anyone he wants to on the mic if he puts his mind to it. But why would he bother when he's got waaayyy bigger fish to fry....

New Music: Kanye West - Lord Lord Lord feat. Mos Def, Swizz Beatz, Raekwon & Charlie Wilson
This week's G.O.O.D. Friday leak from Yeezy:
Man, Ye's really on his 90's hip hop ish right now, huh? But who used that sample in the beat before? It's killin' me not being able to remember - the memory is really going in my old age! For some reason I'm thinking Raekown, Mic Geronimo or maybe even one of the more 'real hip hop' non-single tracks off of one of Diddy's early albums?
Additional discussion point: is Kanye making albums irrelevant with this weekly G.O.O.D. Friday mp3 blast or building crazy anticipation for his next album?

Video: Kanye West & Nicki Minaj - Power Remix & Monster Live at the Jay-Z/Eminem Concert at Yankee Stadium
Footage from last night's concert at Yankee Stadium. Have to admit, this is one concert I wished I'd been at! The tweets I was getting while blogging and watching Monday Night Football made it sound epic and this video only confirms that! Get more video footage HERE.

True to his word....
Kanye West - Good Friday (Feat. Common, Pusha T, KiD CuDi, Big Sean & Charlie Wilson) [mp3 download link]
This is really going right back to that classic College Dropout '04/'05 sound, isn't it? After decrying 808's in these quarters, I'm not sure how I feel about that actually!

New Music: Kanye West - Devil In A New Dress
As if you didn't already hear this! :/ Next in the G.O.O.D. Friday free music series Kanye launched recently. Recommended if you miss the classic soul-based hip hop sound Ye was originally known for....

New Music: Justin Bieber feat. Kanye West & Raekwon - Runaway Love (Remix) [No Tags]
Listen: all you twitter gangsters going on about Rae and Ye sold out or the only time you wanna hear about Bieber is if he's getting shot in a skit need to shut the f-ck up! Y'all really have that much hate in your heart that you wish ill on a f-cking kid like that?! Kid's only crime is getting tween (and some older, don't get ti f-cked up) girls moist (no paedo). Does it bother you that much?! *Smdh....* You must be the same losers who un-followed Kweli 'cos he did a record with Gucci. Get a life you f-cking losers, seriously!
As for this record it's fine. Honestly I thought it was a spoof at first where some one had grabbed old acapellas and thrown it over an old RZA instrumental but then I realized it was for real so I coulda done without that Frankenstein's monster feel to it and it coulda ended at the 3:11 mark no probs, no need for another Chef verse but who can complain about putting the most candy-ass, bubblegum pop singer in the game over some raw-dog hip hop. That's a WIN for hip hop - be clear!!!

New Music: Stromae - Alors On Danse feat. Kanye West & Gilbere Forte
Missed this one from late in the week when it leaked. Apparently this is the biggest crossover club record in Europe so no surprise that 'International Ye' would jump on it. Nice one to get your Saturday night kicking off right though also, no?

Stadium ready! As epic as you would expect with those named above involved. Maybe too much so?! "The Power" Snap sample might have been overstepping a tad though, no?

Unreleased Music: Drake – You Know, You Know (Prod By KanYe West)
Another unreleased joint, this time from Drizzy's HUGELY-buzzing Thank Me Later opus dropping next week (June 15th!!!). Heard the leak, dig it but kind of feel like this should have been on there just to up the energy quotient a little. Its a pretty mellow affair overall, not unlike the So Far Gone mixtape that blew him up in the first place. Track is tagged and rewound by (I think) DJ Big Mike but its f-cking Yeezy-produced FIYA so get at it!

New Music: Kanye West - Power feat. Dwele
Geez, you take one day off to go handle business in NYC and Kanye decides to go and leak new music from his forthcoming Good Ass Job album. Don't get it f-cked up though: this track is bananas! If you hopped off his bandwagon 'cos of the left-turn he took on 808's and Heartbreak, get back on 'cos it looks like the kid is focused again! Track produced by producer, Symbolyc One. Am I off in assuming he has something to do with Erykah Badu just 'cos he's from Dallas or am I right on that??
Thanks YN for the heads up when I bumped into him on 6th Ave. this lunchtime.
