More on the Kanye West-Taylor Swift 2009 MTV VMAs incident

Kanye West,Taylor Swift,MTV,VMAs

A few views from around the internets:

Katy Perry: "F-CK U KANYE" [via Twitter]

Pink: "Kanye west is the biggest piece of sh-t on earth. Quote me." [via Twitter]

Marsha Ambrosius open letter to Kanye: "your ignorant arrogant ass made an ass of everything you represent... you EMBARRASSED US ALL…" [via BET blogs]

Kelly Clarkson open letter to Kanye: "I’m not even mad at you for being an asshole…I just pity you because you’re a sad human being." [via her blog]

The Maximum Fun blog: It's just Kanye Being Kanye. [via Rafi]

My dude Sledge: "YOOOOO THE N-GGA YE IS CRAZZZYYYYYYY!!!!!! HE WENT IN!!!!! and you know what HE WAS F-CKING RIGHT....NO WAY THAT BROAD SHOULD'VE BEAT OUT BEYONCE!!!!! LOVE THAT DUDE!!" [via Facebook]

My take? Ye was right but he was totally out of line and acted inappropriately last night. I mean, he wasn't even up for the award so how did he feel it was his place to either, take up for Beyonce or ruin Taylor Swift's moment? Dude is unbelievable, but f-ck it, MTV is LOVING this 'cos their watercooler buzz for the VMAs (which doesn't even happen around water coolers anymore) is off-the-charts right now. If I know them cats, they are trying to figure out how to have more Kanye next year. Lil Mama's f-kery during the Jay-Z/Alicia Keys show-closing performance becoming a #1 trending topic on twitter last night doesn't hurt either.

And BTW: Taylor Swift could have shown some class herself and thanked Beyonce for being such a class act by giving up HER moment to shine for her! I'm still not covinced the whole thing wasn't staged by MTV in the first place though....
