New Music: Drake - Light Up feat. Jay-Z / Fireworks feat. Alicia Keys
This is probably gonna be the only post from me today as I'm getting ready to head to NYC on a semi-business/semi-pleasure trip. Another two MAJOR tracks from Drake's highly-anticipated Thank Me Later album have surfaced. Man, this thing leaks more than that BP deep sea oil well!

BTW: I've been f-cking SLEEPING on that “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart” track. Sometimes I tune out when I see a million blogs all post the same thing even if its by a major artist like Alicia, but I just heard this song on the Hot 97 Countdown - MONSTROUS! Watch the video for it HERE.
Also, regular readers may have noticed the posting has slowed down drastically in the past few days. I'm in job hunting mode right now and, as simple as the content on this site may look to compile, it does actually take more time than I can afford to spare right now to post 10-15x/day so bear with me. I'll try to pick out the best of the best to share still when I can. I just wanna also say: I can't believe how lame the response was to the Rakim ticket giveaway. OK, I just watched this finally (after listening to 50's new album which is kinda fiya BTW!) and folks are right: its great. A total love letter to his home town that makes me miss the place I called home for over 15 years! However, I have to say this: can he get off Ye's nuts for 5 seconds?! I thought I disucssed this already. S'all good though - still a great video anyway. And I love the final frame ('© 2009 Shawn Carter') - now that's ballin'!

Like I said on Twitter, Nas f-cked up not getting on this record. The song sounded amazing as is live tonight but can you imagine how much more epic it would have been having Nas spit a verse on it too? Dude is an amazing talent but I just don't understand him at times.
NOTE: I think this clip only works in the US, like the internet stops at the US border! :/ These companies will never learn.
