New Music: Andre 3000 - All Together Now (Beatles Cover)
I don't mind it but some people have a problem with it!
Semi-related:
Download Scott Down and DJ Cutler: Ultimate Breaks And Beatles - a 'mash together a slew of Beatles originals, Beatles covers (mainly of the soul and funk variety), rap songs sampling these covers, a handful of classic breaks, and some occasional Beatlemania jetsam' HERE.

Video: Andre 3000 x Kobe Bryant - All Together Now
I know this did the rounds already but its 3-Stacks doing the Beatles in honor of Kobe Bryant's quest for a fifth NBA championship ring and since I just finished watching the Celtics play the Lakers TOUGH last night, I figured it was still apropos to post!

New mashup album: Wu Tang Vs The Beatles - Enter The Magical Mystery Chambers
Spotted this one via my dude, Trent at Beats and Rants:
"This is a FREE downloadable mixtape mash-up featuring various Wu-Tang Clan acapellas over samples of Beatles songs. The 27-song collection was created by indie rap producer-remixer Tom Caruana, founder of his own independent label Tea Sea Records. I think Tom has created one of the best mixtape mash-up in 2010, so far. Bravo!"
Unlike Trent, I'm usually pretty skeptical of these gimmick, mashup albums and someone already did one with The Beatles really well but this is so audacious ("let's mix the Beatles with the Wu...") that I figured I should at least acknowledge it, even if its horrible....

Video: DJ Hero - Daft Punk Trailer
I generally don't like posting these blatant plugs (Marketers: I'm not here to do your work for you and post your

My dude, Big C does a piece on the DJ Hero game from X '09 which I'm assuming is the Canadian version of the E3 conference?
Now admittedly, I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I've played Guitar Hero before and this looks wild complicated compared to that game - in a bad way! Maybe I just didn't understand the gameplay explanation by the PR flack in the video because he's not really a DJ and was mangling all the jargon making it seem more confusing that it actually is? Who knows??
Gamers, tell me though: is this or that other DJ game gonna go?! After all, I heard even the Guitar Band/Rock Hero games had kinda peaked out in their popularity (although on the other hand, I'm reading that the just-released Beatles Rock Band game is doing better than expected).

Thursday Bits N Pieces
Guess who? It's Swizzy, B-tches!!!
And while we're Ruff Ryders-orientated...
New Eve "Fire" sampling White Stripes. That ish is pretty medicore to be honest though.... (zshare mp3 link via the TinMan)
Frank N Dank - "MCA (Music Cemetry of America)" (prod. by J Dilla) - caution: mad rappers at work! B-side from the 2nd single “Nice 2 Meet U” feat. Brick & Lace (prod. Saukrates) off the XTended Play Version 3.13 LP. (be kind, right click and save as | more mp3's here)
Speaking of the D (which is where Frank N Dank are from), download the Pressure mix CD from much-blogged and buzzed about Detroit MC Black Milk here (I know y'all probably got this one already, right?).
Slightly old but still essential: Palms Out Sounds' collection of samples used by Daft Punk.
Recording the Beatles: the book (via Boing Boing)
D-Wade Limited Edition Sidekick 3.
