Remembering Big Pun....
Am I crazy or have none of the major hip hop blogs done anything on the anniversary of Big Pun's passing today? I didn't look that hard truth be told but he was one of the best to ever touch a mic, period and I'll even say this: dude was more lyrical than BIG - real talk! And he had swag and the charisma & songwriting chops to pull off club bangers, radio hits and girl records that still knocked on some real hip hop sh-t. Why he is not regularly lionized and in the middle of GOAT disucssions, whether he could win them or not, is beyond me. Anyway, don't believe me or are not famailiar with his work, check out this imeem playlist I threw together:
