New Remix: K’Naan - Wavin' Flag feat. Will I. Am & David Guetta

I'm not even mad at all the different versions and remixes of this song coming out. Its such a great song with such a great sentiment so I'm happy to see it finally touching all people now - this is one example of success that's truly deserved.

Music Video: Keane feat. K'naan - Stop For A Minute
Something a little different: K'naan rockin' with UK middle-of-the-road pop-rockers, Keane, the group that coulda been Coldplay (maybe, if their lead singer had married a Hollywood starlet, that is...). Happy for K'naan but not sure he can be their 'Jay-Z' figure even with the "Nothing To Worry About"-esque, beatastic track for him to spit (admirably enough) on. BTW: does that video kind of remind you of the artwork for that Circle Research single I posted earlier, like it does me?
Agree? Disagree? Bueller, Bueller, Bueller??

K'naan and Young Canadian Artists Wave the Flag for the World Cup & Haiti
The above version was made especially to be the official theme song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa this summer (in July?). MAJOR!!!
But then this new version just dropped last week as well:
"K’naan’s “Wavin’ Flag” is one of the standout tracks from his Troubadour album and has become something of a phenomenon thanks to its timely message of strength and solidarity. Now famed producer Bob Ezrin has brought together top Canadian performers for Young Artists for Haiti, and the group’s rendition of the song takes it to new heights. Performers include K’naan, Nikki Yanofsky, Justin Bieber, Jim Cuddy, Emily Haines, Hedley, The Arkells, Drake, Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Jully Black, Sam Roberts, Kardinal Offishall, and more."
Click to BUY the "Wavin' Flag" song on iTunes HERE.
I ain't gon' front, I was semi on K'naan when I first got aware of him but this song is a fantastic feel-good anthem that deserves all the attention and success it has been getting. K'naan has really grown into his self as an artist and I only see him getting bigger from here. Dude is a great ambassador for hip hop and I see him potentially becoming a major global superstar. Yeah, I said it: believe it! Canada, STAND THE F-CK UP!!!!
