Music video: Brandon Carter - Subway, Bus or Walking

Clever and timely video from a Chicago-born but now NY-based rapper that's going viral. What with this and Joell Ortiz & Jim Jones' "Honda, Nissan, Chevy (remix)" it looks like Lloyd Banks & Juelz Santana's "Beamer, Benz Or Bentley" is truly going viral.

Music video: Joell Ortiz feat. Jim Jones – Nissan, Honda, Chevy

This is comedy for the simple fact that they got a video out for a song that ain't even theirs at basically the same time the original "Beamer, Benz or Bentley" video came out. What part of the game is that??

Lloyd Banks feat. Juelz Santana - Beamer, Benz, Or Bentley

This record is kind of fiya! Sounds like a jerk music track though, no? Video is of Banks & Juelz performing "Beamer, Benz, Or Bentley" in NY at a XXL magazine-hosted a special event for Haiti last night.

Music video: Juelz Santana feat. Yelawolf – Mixin’ Up The Medicine

I was kinda more excited about this dude, Yelawolf when he was doing stuff like "Kickin'" but this joint with Young Splash ain't bad actually. Peep the official plug for the video too if you're not enticed to watch already...

"Three/21 and Skullz Gang present the “Mixin’ Up The Medicine” music video for Juelz Santana feat. Yelawolf. Like the Bob Dylan sample, our concept pays homage to the original Dylan video as well as detailing the perspective of Juelz as a mad scientist character who must live in isolation in order to create the “medicine”. Lots of potion and tons of guns. Enjoy!"

New music: Juelz Santana - "I Am the Club"

He is the club in that SMOKING Smoking Jacket! [image courtesy BET]

That gay-ass image of Juelz notwithstanding, I've actually been obsessing over this track (which might actually be called "I'm in Da Club"??) all night since I heard Flex play it on Hot 97. It's already the second most-played track on my desktop's itunes libarary (impressive but not that impressive - the ipod with the 8000+ songs is synced to my mac laptop itunes library). Check it:

2009: Year of the Three Headed Monster?

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

If I had to call it, I would say, based on the music I've heard so far, that the reign of the Interscope/Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit dynasty is over but you can never count these guys out, right? Check out the tracks below and you tell me though:

Eminem feat. Dr. Dre & 50 cent "Crack a Bottle" [imeem stream]

Dr. Dre feat 50 cent & R-Kelly "Untitled" (from Detox) [play via this Sha Money XL link]

50 cent - "Play this on the radio" [via Vicki]

50 cent "Heartless Monster" [imeem stream]

50 cent "I Get It In" (prod. Dr. Dre) [zshare via Rizoh]

50 Cent - "N-gga, I’ll Hurt You" [zshare via 2DopeBoyz]

50 cent - "In God We Trust" [4share stream/download link via 5StarHipHop.com]

Lloyd Banks - "Don’t Come Around" [Sharebee link via OnSMASH]

Honestly, the best 50 cent/G-Unit-style record I've heard recently was actually done by Juelz Santana and Una Kasa although I do have to admit that the Lloyd Banks track is not bad and his mixtape is really good and I'm not even really much of a Banks fan!

Re: this whole Three Headed Monster bizness, sympathies go out to my dude Smijj who was running with that name well before Curtis, Andre and Marshall decided to bogart it.

Wanna save yourself the trouble downloading mp3's of all these middling tracks? Listen to (most of) them via this Thisis50.com media player below:

The 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards Cyphers

Now THIS is real hip hop:

BET Hip Hop Awards comes correct!

My man who was at the awards taped last Saturday told me that Round III with Ace Hood, Juelz, Fab and Jadakiss was retarded and that Ace Hood might have dropped the best verse! Now that I've seen it, I can see why he said that. Agree? Apparently the crowd went nuts when this cypher aired.

New Video: Sean Kington feat. Juelz Santana "There's Nothing"

This is pretty much ass to me but I figure some idiots out there might be curious to actually to watch this crap because of the Dip Set connection. Sean Kingston sounds like a poor man's Sean Paul here and Juelz Santana seems to be rapidly en route to squandering his talent the same way his mentor Cam did. Who knew Jim Jones would be the only one to sustain a viable career out of that crew? BTW: WSHH gets the bozack for the auto ads on their site that actually stop their videos playing after they've already loaded and started - WTF??

Lil Wayne & Juelz Santana "Black Republicans (freestyle)" - the video.

The last time I posted this track with a favorable review, I got 20 comments basically saying I was a f-ckin' idiot! Is it any better to y'all with a "viral" online video?
