New Music: Jadakiss feat. Nas & Sheek Louch - Soldier Survivor
OK, not exactly new (actually wild old in blog time), but I kinda missed it when it dropped (I know: how do you miss a track with Nas and the Lox, seriously??) but I heard it a few weeks after and had my wig split as I heard Mister Cee go in on it on his Friday night mixshow. Similar formula but I kind of feel about this how I felt about "Made You Look" - if you don't like this, I seriously question whether you really actually like hip hop. Just saying....
Jadakiss feat. Nas & Sheek Louch - 'Soldier Survivor' [mp3 audio stream]
No D/L link - even though its a mixtape track, I'm not taking any chances with the RIAA's attack dogs. Its from the DJ Drama and DJ Green Lantern-produced The Champ is Here 3 mixtape though which you can download HERE (or stream HERE).

Video: Raekwon in Canada for Caribana
He ain't really saying nothing but I posted it cos it's Caribana/Toronto-related! He was on the Flow 93.5 float, again doing nothing. I'll post my shot of him plus some other flicks from the parade yesterday before the long weekend (here) is out.

All over the radio here in NYC for the past week (?) or so. Straight fiya - good to hear the Dog back on the mic and not in the courthouse!!!

Video: Jadakiss - "Who's Real (Hot 97 remix)" feat P.R. Beatz and OJ da Jewman
One of the songs I DO like off Jada's new album. Props on his 1st week success though 'cos I really didn't see that coming even though his online/viral game has been tight on this album. Maybe that sh-t means something after all?

TONIGHT: the Official Jadakiss' Album Release Party with Funk Flex & Bobby Trends at Retreat
Dude's been busy for the release of his new The Last Kiss album this week. I'm gonna go check his MySpace party out which is also tonight although I'm not sure I'm that excited for it: I mean, dude can spit 'n all but, with the exception of a couple tracks here and there, the album is totally uninteresting - it sounds pretty much exactly like his last album... from 5 years ago!!!

Listen to Jadakiss's The Last Kiss album
Dropping next week, I believe?
The Last Kiss
[via Thisis50.com]
FYI: I'm WILD busy with work and personal stuff right now so I haven't had time to do any real posts the past few days. Also, a word to the million cats that email every day looking for some love on the site: if you're clogging up my inbox with crazy big mp3 files instead of sending zshare, limelinx, 4shared.com or (ideally) yousendit links (so your music can get tracked on Hypemachine and get even more exposure) that I can throw up (or tweet) immediately; not including a good quality press photo or album/single/mixtape artwork; or sending an email that has no explanation of what your music or your artist is about but you're a brand new, completely unknown artist, DO NO EXPECT TO GET BLOGGED ABOUT! I don't have time to listen to everything and if you can't be bothered to include basic information in your email that can help me decide what to check out first to possibly blog about, don't expect me to do your legwork for you. And BTW: just 'cos you got blogged about on Eskay or 2DopeBoyz, that ain't reason enough for me to do something. Frankly, I might catch feelings that you thought I'd be happy to post your sh-t when you already gave it to them first! For more on how to submit the right way to The Kitchen, read this.

Jadakiss - "Who's Real" feat Swizz Beatz and OJ da Juiceman
"He's phony, she's fake/That's the type of people I hate...."
I like this. Probaly mad old but I just heard it on the radio right now:

DJ Dub & TheOvun.com present the J-A-D-A-KISS mixtape
The full mixatpe drops March 23 allegedly but here's a couple preview tracks to hold you down:
Jadakiss - "J-A-D-A Kiss Intro" | "Time's Up (Kiss Remix)" (prod by DJ Rob Dinero, he of "Brookly Go Hard" Beastie Boys mashup/remix fame) [both limelinx stream/download mp3 audio links]
The email these tracks came from called KISS, one of the Top 5 Rock Bands! Comedy. That's even less plausible than calling Jada one of the Top 5 MC's Dead or Alive.

New video: Jadakiss - "Can't Stop Me"
I don't really love this song too tough but the video, directed by Marc Klasfield, is pretty good. Question for Jada though: LA > Yonkers?? LOL @ OS for their impudence on the video still.

New music: Jadakiss - "Magic City"
They say Radio is dead but I say Amen to it still 'cos it saves me having to click every f-cking link on these blogs to see if the music they've posted is any good. And believe me, you need a filter 'cos some of these dudes' taste is wild suspect - they literally will post everything which is cool if you're providing some kind of editorial context and noting the joints that ain't really hot but still post-worthy (in case fans might dig it anyway, ya dig?), but they almost never do! Anyway, mixshow radio is still kind of that filter for me, so here's another joint I got put up on from playing Hot 97 last night:
Jadakiss - "Magic City" (prod. DJ Absolut) [direct mp3 link via XXLmag.com as jacked by them from Xclusives Zone, please right click and save as]
Sh-t is dumb hot. Jada's new album might actually be worth checking out even though I think the official single is hot garbage.

Grafh feat. Jim Jones, Prinz, Bun B & Jadakiss - "Like Ooh (remix)"
Sounds like a NY attempt at doing a Cool N Dre/DJ Khaled-style record (you know: the ones that always feature Akon, Rick Ross and T-Pain...) but I mean that in a good way here 'cos this ain't bad:
Grafh feat. Jim Jones, Prinz, Bun B & Jadakiss - "Like Ooh (remix)" [zshare stream/download mp3 link via my dude Jabari]

New Music: Jadakiss feat Jay-Z - "Who Run This"
This election got me riled up - but let's get back to the music....
Jadakiss feat. Jay-Z - "Who Run This" [zshare stream/download mp3 link via IllRoots.com]
I know the masses don't give a f-ck but this is hot to me. I guess old habits die hard. I also gotta respect the fact that son still calls himslef 'Al Qadea' Jada - now THAT takes cojones in this day and age! Jay shoulda spit a 16 on this though 'cos this is the kind of beat that I think might have inspired some hotter bars out of his old ass.....
