In the first episode I take VIMBY to the South Bronx, where I grew up... Check some of the homies, and talk about some of the things I used to get into back in the day. Then later I go check out this loft party for the "Girl Soldier" event with LOLA and Gin Lane. And lastly I give you a sneak peak of what me and Legendary Producer Bink! have been cooking up in the studio!"

Video: The Kid Daytona feat Bun B - "Air Born"
Word from the director Derek Pike:
"Last week I shot the “Air Born” video for The Kid Daytona featuring Bun B. The beat which is produced by 6th Sense has this real mellow floaty vibe to it so I knew I wanted to shoot the majority of this video with someone or something floating in midair. Since shooting in outerspace wasn’t in the budget, I had to settle for NYC. Luckily, Daytona knew someone here on earth that could defy gravity for us, EBCstar Africa. We shot the whole video at a little park downtown, no permits. Aside from having to work around screaming kids at camp, and a basketball leagues scheduled game everything went surprisingly smooth. Daytona and Bun B are two of the nicest and most laid back artists I have ever worked with. Shout outs to the Three/21 fam Rik, Nancy and Steve, Jamal, Owen, Jordan at Sneaktip, Dan, Evan, and of course Daytona, Bun B, 6th and Africa."
Note: I REALLY hate these Three/21 embed players, they take forever to load. If this is available on youtube or vimeo, somebody let me know so I can switch out the code.

Uptown Wednesday Night....
Harlem has always had that swag. Even (adopted) Brooklyn heads like me been knowing that Uptown cats stay fly all day! With that being said...
This is Teyana Taylor, the "Princess of Star Trak": homegirl is 16 years old and credited with "inventing" (read: popularizing) the Chicken Noodle Soup dance last summer. She's a former skater turned rapper/singer now signed to Pharrell's Star Trak label as well as peoples with my young dun-duns from The Pack:
It's YBI, mang. I keep telling you to stop fighting it but y'all don't listen....
