Photos: Posdnuos & De La Soul Live at the 2010 Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival

Great set by these legendary vets on Saturday even though they didn't do "Ring Ring Ring" like the crowd wanted. Next year: Common, The Roots or Black Star?

Photos: Nice & Smooth Live at the 2010 Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival

Featuring a guest appearance by DJ Premier to pay tribute to his partner in the legendary Gangstarr, the late and much-missed Guru as Nice & Smooth performed their classic underground hit, "Dwyck." The energy these two had on stage was amazing, especially considering the size of Smooth B's gut and the fact that I caught him puffing on some smokes not 15 minutes before his set!
Sorry these particular shots are so dark. I think my other photo sets should look a little better but unfortunately I misplaced my camera a few weeks back and had to use my girlfriend's clunker! I looked CRAZY in the photo pit next to all the 'real' photographers and videographers with their HD rigs and Digital SLR's. Y'all know I do it for the love here at The Kitchen though so enjoy anyway....
