Dap-Kings-related twice in one day! I know this has been out for a minute but it's friggin' cool if you are familiar with the classic Dylan visuals that are being referenced in the clip. This one is dedicated to Rizoh:

The Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings album is out!
This is something I'd usually put on my other site, The In Crowd (and I did) but this project deserves more attention than that. The 100 Days, 100 Nights album's been out for a minute but it's a travesty that's its being largely ignored when it's clear the market is open to checking out vintage soul sounds as evidenced by the amazing sales success of the Amy Winehouse album this past year. I won't speculate on why that is (!), just check it out:
