Some Mother's Day Links

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Various links - just on, not about, Mother's Day:

Anthony Hamilton - Southern Comfort: another collection of previously unreleased, older material that just came out a few weeks ago. Almost as essential as Comin' From Where I'm From and Ain't Nobody Worryin'.

New Kanye West - only a grainy YouTube video and a very short audio snippet but holy smokes, the new Graduation album promises to be amazing based on how this stuff is sounding:

- First single (?) "Stronger" live in Kuala Lumpar. Is that a Daft Punk sample?

- Or is "Can't Tell Me Nothin'" the first single? Hard to tell which way he should go based on this far too brief snippet.

(Both via Nah Right)

Also, via Nah Right: new Lupe Fiasco.

The 25 Greatest Hip-Hop Albums of All Time (according to the hip hop bloggerati) And some post-survey analysis. (My list here)

Happy Mother's Day - now go call/visit your mom, d*mmit...
