New Music: Janelle Monáe feat. B.O.B. & Lupe Fiasco - Tightrope (Wondamix)
Gonna keep the Big Boi-related vibes from yeterday going with a few other tracks I missed while out of town...
I know I been talking up Janelle Monáe crazy recently but in the end I have to say her ArchAndroid album was kind of a disappointment after I called her the best new artists on the planet. There's some joints on it no doubt but overall its too long and kind of meanders with some real slow periods. I thought homegirl could have delivered a Miseducation-type of classic album but to be honest she kind of dropped the ball! I'll still go see her live if she ever makes it to the T.dot though 'cos she's still amazing live and this remix of her first single is pretty good too!
