I know you young gunners who think Biggie is Old School could give a f-ck about this but, if you claim to love hip hop, this is so essential you don't even know. Don't question, just get it! If I must, er... break it down for you though, it goes like this: Ultimate Breaks & Beats is the foundation of all hip hop - it's a collection of the original R&B, funk, soul, disco, rock, pop, and reggae tracks that DJ's like Herc and Bam used to spin to create the sound that we now know as hip hop. Samples and beats you've heard a thousand times before on classic hip hop songs can be found within this set of songs. I mean, for f-cks sake, you don't even need to buy 25 separate pieces of wax, on doubles, which old bastards like me had to do back in the day, or even get the handy CD/DVD set with pre-made mp3 files that was issued a few years back any more.
