Throwback music: Tears for Fears - "Memories Fade"
Aka the track 'sampled' (try ripped off lock, stock 'n' barrel or more charitably, covered) by Kanye for "Coldest Winter", the latest track to 'leak' from his new album, 808s & Heartbreak.
Most people, if they're old enough, probably remember Tears for Fears for the two smash singles, "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" and "Shout" from their monster crossosver album, Songs from the Big Chair
. Before they ruled the world though, OG new wave heads know that the real deal album to have by these guys was The Hurting
which had the tracks, "Mad World", "Pale Shelter" and:Tears for Fears - "Memories Fade" [Last.fm streaming audio link]
