Paul Weller - "Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City" (audio)
Something slightly different today. For those who don't know him, Paul Weller is a British rock n roll icon whose career has spanned over three decades. His love of Black music, particularly classic R&B and soul is well known. Here's his cover of the Bobby "Blue" Bland track best known for being sampled by Kanye for the track "Heart of the City (Ain't No Love)" from Jay-Z's classic album, The Blueprint and in the TV campaign for the American Gangster movie last year.
