Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival: recaps from around the internets
Props to Wes n crew for making the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival bigger and bigger every year. The 3rd annual go around this past Saturday was previewed in the NY Times weekend guide eblast and featured a surprise appearance by Fat Joe. Blowing up! Highlights for me were (in order) Parrish Smith (aka PMD), The El Michels Affair and Ghostface (not doing "Daytona 500" though - travesty!) but pretty much everyone else I saw including Consequence and Dres of Black Sheep aquitted themselves respectably too (slightly peeved at Sean Price for ending his set with the beat from "Mess You Made" but not actually performing it BTW also, but no biggie....).
