New music: Dasha Covers Mos Def's "Umi Says"
I've been skipping most of the countdown video clips I've been sent promoting Dasha's upcoming Back 2 The Future mixtape because, as cute as she looks in the videos, they've been a bit pointless but now they're finally getting down to the nitty gritty and sending some actual music to check out! Here's the plug:
"Dasha listed this cover of the Mos Def classic as her third favorite from her upcoming mixtape, Back 2 The Future, earlier today. I love this track so much that I had to leak the full thing for you all to hear. Though Dasha has been highlighting more mainstream tracks in her countdown, out of the 23 tracks there is a mixture of more classic hip hop such as this. Can't let the cat out of the bag just yet... you'll have to wait until November 14th when the mixtape drops!"
