R.I.P. to Saigon's mother who passed away on Monday and my condolences to him and his friends & family who lost their beloved.
This has been a million blogs already but I had lunch with an old high school friend yesterday who told me his mother was diagnosed with bone cancer this past Spring and has only weeks to live, if even that long. He's had to carry this burden in silence as his mother didn't want people to know until near the very end. I didn't even know what to say to him that wasn't trite, cliche or something that made me sound like an idiot. Life is so tough sometimes....
