Healthcare Round-Up Part II
Rep. Anthony Weiner SMASHES Joe Scarbrough on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' during a discussion on healthcare reform and leaves him speechless in response to the question, "What value does the private health insurance industry bring to healthcare?":

Joe Scarborough's best defense was trying to equate an expansion of Medicare into a single payer system that would cover everyone (essentially no private insurance and a single 'Public Option' for all) with visions of a scary "government takeover" of healthcare. Think this argument is new?? Check out this piece on 'Medicare's Inception' by Laurence O'Donnell on MSNBC's 'The Ed Show" about how this rhetoric was used when Medicare was first introduced back in the early 1960's and check out who the anti-Medicare forces used as their mouthpiece back then!:
