Throwback music: One-On Volume 1 sampler (2003)
This promo CD sampler, featuring hip hop, breakbeats, and rare groove funk & soul, was given away with the premier issue of the short-lived (?) music magazine Grand Slam which was another in the tradition of excellent hip hop-based UK magazines like Big Daddy and Fat Lace which made their American counterparts, The Source and XXL look corny! The sampler features Large Professor, Rob Swift, Mr. Magic, Edan and Public Enemy. Click here for the full track listing.
