The Heatwave present the Immediate Sounds Volume 1 mixtape
This half hour mix of jump-up Caribbean rave music is from last year but I missed posting it and its FIYA so don't sleep on it like I did!
Immediate Sounds Vol. 1 is the UK sound of garage, bassline, funky and jungle filtered through the tasty carnival vibes of bashment and soca. Featured artists include Beenie Man, Ms. Dynamite, Elephant Man, Vybz Kartel and Dizzee Rascal (click here for the full tracklisting). The tape was mixed by Gabriel Heatwave and Ben Dubstar to their promote their Caribbean music party of the same name from last summer.
