Amazing new Beastie Boys Live Photos

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

From the D-Nice Gallery where you can order high-quality prints. Read D-Nice's memories of seeing the Beasties live from his blog:

"I remember attending the "Together Forever" concert at Madison Square Garden in 1987 where Run-DMC and the Beastie Boys performed live. Imagine this... over 20,000 people holding shell-toe Adidas in the air, waving them like they just didn't care! That was the day I fell in love with hip-hop. I knew every single lyric from the "Raising Hell" and "Licensed To Ill" albums. Last night, I had the opportunity to open up for the Beastie Boys at the "Music Has Power" benefit in New York City. For nearly 2 hours, I felt like a b-boy all over again."

Click here for more. People don't wanna admit it now but back when Licensed to Ill came out, that was the hip hop album to be into. I remember the Beasties being practically the only group getting requested on Ron Nelson's 'Fantastic Voyage' Saturday afternoon hip hop show on CKLN at the time. This was the era when you had to work to hear hip hop and 'Fantastic Voyage' was virtually (along with Jonbrowski's 'The Masterplan' show on CIUT on Saturday nights and, hit n miss, some stuff on the weekend mixshows on WBLK out of Buffalo) the only place to hear the real hip hop in the Tdot back then.
