Maggie Williams - Hillary Clinton's New Campaign Chief

Should I read anything into the fact that: 1. She's African-American but 2. Wasn't Clinton's election Campaign Manager until now that she's losing to Obama when she was supposedly her 'Top Aide' at the White House and also an 'Assistant to the President'?
