What is "True" Hip Hop?
Lloyd feat. Andre 3000 & Nas "You (clean remix)" [MP3: YSI | zshare stream/download] - the original interpolated Spandau Ballet's (above) "True" semi-subtly but this remix is a full-on vintage Bad Boy-style loop jack. With the assists from Nas and Andre 3000, this could be as big on pop radio as PM Dawn's "Set Adrift..." was using the same sample back in the day. (More: MySpace | Buy Lloyd albums)
Also:
Another flagrant pop jack: Crime Mob's crunk take on Haddaway's "What is Love?" Either pop genius or further evidence that hip hop is indeed dead.
Why bother watching Jay's Maybach commerical when there's already a real one?
