"I am committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president....''

"The pre-election statement by Diebold’s CEO that he would work to deliver the election to Bush was apparently no idle boast. In five states where the new "foolproof" electronic voting machines were used, the vote tallies differed substantially from the exit polls. Such a disparity is unusual. The chances of exit polls in five states being wrong are no more than one in one million." (Source: LewRockwell.com)

It boggles my mind how scandal after scandal has hit the White House yet Bush still manages to keep on truckin' while one group of wacko GOP Vietnam vet haters were able to completely derail John Kerry's presidential campaign.

A week and some change ago came this story that you would think would be one more nail in a Bush administation coffin that never seems to close:

"Key figures in a phone-jamming scheme designed to keep New Hampshire Democrats from voting in 2002 had regular contact with the White House and Republican Party as the plan was unfolding, phone records introduced in criminal court show.

The records show that Bush campaign operative James Tobin, who recently was convicted in the case, made two dozen calls to the White House within a three-day period around Election Day 2002 — as the phone-jamming operation was finalized, carried out and then abruptly shut down." "But, Ian" you cry. "This has to be an isolated incident. There's NO way the GOP would have really tried to steal the election, is there?"

Yup, sadly there is. Peep some of these links about election fraud and electronic voting I've been sitting on waiting for the right time to post:
