Special Superbowl Edition
I'm far from an NFL expert but in honor of America's unofficial second holiday in February and the fact that we have a black quarterback leading the underdog team in vying for the championship (Bol, don't even go there), it's only right that I give the Superbowl some coverage from the Kitchen point of view.
One year later - still traumatized
While at the other end of the spectrum: "When they look at Jacksonville, I want them to see Jesus" - Jesus at the Superbowl. (The New York Times)
The official (?) Superbowl blog
The Power And The Glory: The Original Music & Voices Of NFL Films - real football fans know why this soundtrack CD is so necessary.

A short diversion while we examine why the sport they call football in the rest of the world can't shake its racist image. (Link via Del)
Boomer Esiason on why McNabb could be the next Namath.
And Thought 4 the Day on chasing the ghost of Doug Williams. (link via Beats and Rants 2.2)
Oh yeah, before I forget though... f-ck Rush Limbaugh.
Finally, shout to my folkers in the City of Brotherly Love including rabid Eagles booster Rodd, Taj & Marsha (thanks for the good times last night), Mercedes and Tracey who I haven't seen in years and the sweetest German-American filly in Philly, if not the whole country, "Cleopetra" (apologies if that last shout isn't so PC). Go Eagles!
