More on the Budden-Game "beef" | How to release your inner-Danger Mouse | And who is Nina Sky?
More furor over Bush's 9/11 ad: this story seems to have legs... like a muh'f-cker. (Daily News)

Bin Laden Loves Volleyball: the human side of worldwide terror. (Reuters)
Meet the ladies of the New York City bloggerati (is that a word?). (Daily News)
Soul Plane: why?
Survivor: a little too real? (I think I might have used that line before.) (CBS News)
It's no Kanye video creativity-wise but, if you're a long-time visitor to this site, you know I've been reppin' this J-Kwon ish for a while now: the "Tipsy" video. ( Blastro)
Release your inner-Danger Mouse with The Jay-Z Construction Set. (via the Mish list)
The Game was on Hot 97's "Renegade Radio Morning Show" today explaining his beef with Joe Budden and confirmed my insider's explanation of the source of the beef (click here and scroll down a little for more details). (BTW he said his dis record "Street Hit" is actually titled "Buddens."). Joe Budden also called in. This whole thing sounds like much ado about nothing based on what I could figure out from their back and forth.

- Please believe I'm copping the brand new DJ Jay Faire & G-Unit mixtape The Game which has "100 Bars and Runnin'" and a lot of new Game joints I don't think I have. (Allmixtapes.com)
For flossy vinyl collectors: the ELP Laser Turntable. (also via the Mish list)
The current hotness:
- Nina Sky "Move Your Body". Of course, I don't have an mp3 link for you but, trust me, this ish is bangin'. Extra points for the cool interpolation of "Can You Feel the Beat." Anyone who finds a link to this, please leave a comment with it at the bottom.
The Beatles seem to be the new go-to sample source as DJ Green Lantern dropped a new Talib Kweli joint called "Lonely People" using "Eleanor Rigby" this morning on Hot 97 too. Kind of fire too as Kweli flipped a mid-west Bone Thugs/Do or Die-type flow on the vocals. Can't see him getting this cleared though and I know he's scramabling right now trying to do just that. (Again no mp3 link but keep your eyes peeled for it to probably appear on an upcoming Green Lantern mixtape.)
More mp3's via Fluxblog (NB: archive readers, all links are temporary):
- Franz Ferdinand "Take Me Out (Morgan Geist Reversion)". A full version of this remix for y'all to finally check out.
- Wiley "Problems". Not the best track to rep this kid IMHO (I wouldn't exactly classify that beat as "grime" personally), but you can see what I mean when I say he sounds exactly like Dizzee Rascal.
