And finally, help settle a debate brewing among some friends of mine: is G-Funk still an applicable/relevant term to describe the West Coast hip hop sound originated by Dr. Dre/Warren G/Dat Ni--a Daz etc. and, if yes, is the G-Unit making G-Funk music just because Dre had a hand in producing their album even though the group members are from Queens and (I believe) New Orleans and not the West Coast?
